This movie revolves around four friends whose treasure hunt is disturbed by the discovery of a lost stash of cocaine.Holier than thou girlfriend, Jessica Alba, wants to do the right thing and report the hidden drugs to the police."Into the Blue" is, of all things, an adventure story. Not a high-powered thriller with goofy special effects, but a story about people and hazards and treasure and love, in which every single thing that everybody does is physically possible for people to really do (except that they can apparently hold their breath indefinitely).Jessica Alba may be one of the hottest young things working in Hollywood, but she can't act. This year, she has appeared in a trio of movies (the previous two were Sin City and The Fantastic Four), and has failed to show any noteworthy thespian skills.Together they accidentally come across a sunken pirate ship that they believe is filled with gold. They argue amongst themselves and some people get killed. How can I care about these characters when they act stupid and do things that are impossible in real life.Near the site they also discover a recently crashed plane filled with cocaine. For example: Jared is forced onto a drug lords boat at gun point.
Every time I checked my watch, the hands seemed to be in the same place.Often the camera is angled so that her rear is in the shot just for the sake of being in the shot.At least the director fully understood that he was directing a bomb and that he had best put the film's best asset on display as often as possible.Director John Stockwell, who has a fetish for movies with "blue" in the title (he also was in charge of Blue Crush), may not have found a formula for entertainment, but he has discovered a means to slow time. That would be a good thing if Into the Blue was less tedious.Into the Blue is a good opportunity to see Jessica Alba and her nice round ass.It is featured through out the movie, from bikini's to tight jeans.Director: John Stockwell Cast: Paul Walker, Jessica Alba, Scott Caan, Ashley Scott, Josh Brolin Plot: Struggling treasure hunters, Jared and Sam (Walker and Alba), think their luck is in, when Jared’s brother (Caan) shows up with a hired luxury boat. But when they start looking for treasure, they stumble across a crashed plane, full of cocaine.Jared's friend Bryce (Scott Caan) flies in from the mainland with a girlfriend named Amanda (Ashley Scott) he says he picked up the night before. They all go diving together and find two kinds of treasure in more or less the same place: one ancient, one right up to date. But Bryce is greedy and wants to push them in a direction that Jared and Sam are ethically opposed to.
