Darius Campbell has finally spoken out about his whirlwind romance with Daisy Lowe and how he’s backing her all the way on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 36-year-old reality TV and now West End star has been friends with the 27-year-old model for years and while they tried dating for a while, they’re now just friends.
The Colourblind singer says that while the pair did give dating a go, they decided to revert back to having a platonic love as they were better as ‘friends’.
Whilst speaking with The Sun he explained: ‘There was a shift that happened a few months ago where we thought we’d go from friends to dating,’ he admitted.

There is a spark between them but they are taking it slowly.
That made being more than friends really easy.’ Darius has insisted that it was a ‘fun relationship’, but that Daisy isn’t a party girl at all.
and then I'll probably end up doing panto with him and Anne Widdecombe. "He continued: "I think it's about a race with the people at home.
